This is a gathering a mystery authors (and friends) 6:30 p.m. May 7 at the Boathouse at Sunday Park. Hosted by novelist Josh Pachter.

From Novice to Novelist Week 1 - June 24-28
For 150 years, the famed Chautauqua Institution in southwestern New York state has been providing thought-provoking lectures and classes along with high-end entertainment. I've been teaching there since 2017. This summer I'll be leading my week-long writing class during weeks 1 and 6 of Chautauqua's 9-week summer season.

I'll return to Chautauqua in southwestern New York state to lead a week-long writing workshop "From Novice to Novelist."
August 22-25
Once again, I'll be attending this excellent writers conference as an Independent Editor. I'll be critiquing people's manuscripts, plus anything else conference organizer Clay Stafford wants me to do.
Bouchercon - Nashville August 28 - September 1
After Killer Nashville, I'll be sticking around for Bouchercon. Among my duties at this gathering of mystery authors (and readers!) I'll be interviewing Fan Guest of Honor Clay Stafford, founder and host of Killer Nashville.
Creatures, Crimes, & Creativity (C3Con) September 13-15
This is a boutique writers conference hosted every year by Austin and Denise Camacho in Columbia, Maryland near D.C.
La Crosse, Wisconsin October 25-26
This year, the Wisconsin Writers Association will hold its fall conference in the city where I was born and raised, so of course I'll be there.
