Writing Coach
I meet with clients in person, on the phone, or via Zoom or Skype to discuss their writing (any genre -- fiction and non-fiction), or to guide them through various writing workshops I've created. Meetings are on an "as needed" basis to discuss writing vexations, goals, deadlines to meet them, and accountability.
Manuscript Editor
As an editor, I perform serveral services: a comprehensive deep-dive copyedit; an overall assessment of your manuscript's strengths and weaknesses; or a "weed whack" in which I clear out the underbrush on manuscripts that are woefully too long.
Workshop Leader
I regularly lead writing workshops at writing centers, bookstores, writers' conferences, and online.
